Hey guys I was wondering since I have a 08 base TL, will a 08 type-s a-spec lip fit without any mods?

Front or rear?? front will fit without any modifications, i believe. Rear, on the other hand, is a different story.

Okay I found out that the 08 front type-s aspec does fit 08 front base bumper with no mod really, but what about the 08 rear type-s aspec will that fit on my 08 rear base?

When you say modify in term you mean I'll have to cut my base bumper to fit it? Also I have the base dual exhaust so do you think it will looks stupid in the rear because eventually I want to get the quad ATLP exhaust system

Modifying it like in the link CLtotheTL32 posted.

But don't go and cut the whole bottom mid section like the other members did.

When I modified mine, cut the vent area bigger, just enough for the middle hole section of the Type S rear lip to fit in there.

Then you can drill some holes and use some loose zip ties to hold the vent garnish there.

Hey guys sorry about the slow updates, I've just been busy working a lot in all.

But here some new high def quality pictures a buddy of mine took of my car, hope guys enjoy .

Different random shot of me and my buddy chilling at the car wash lol

That all for now guys, I'm running 225/35/19 on 10.5 in the rear wheel now so it looks more flush and stance than the picture of my ass shot before . Also if you guys look closely at my front bumper, I have a boo boo on it that getting fix tomorrow do I can do my next step here .

Thanks, I know high quality pictures only compliments your car

I'm currently thinking about doing my headlights what do guys think is better black out or clear headlights on my TL?

Any pictures of TL with black out or clear headlight is welcome. I've seen some in other member pictures but I can't decide I wanna see some side shots of the car with these headlights.

LOL NICE!!! I plan to have 2 set aswell soon and I will post new pictures once I get all this done below.

Small update:

Okay so I just order Acura TL Orion V2 Multi-Color LED Angel Eyes (04-08) from Umnitza and I'll be installing those when I do my headlights. Also I did some reseach and found out some people had some issues with the Orion V2, so I hope for the money I'm paying for them I don't have any issues with these ones even tho they found a easy fix. I will also be putting on my a-spec kit on once I get my front bumper back from the shop. But does anyone have a picture of headlight with the orange reflectors gone and the headlight put back together because I can't find one? I saw Jnc custom headlights thread but I just want to see the TL headlight with the orange reflectors remove that it, can anyone help me out thanks .

*Update:

I finally got my A-spec kit on but I'm still waiting for my halo to come in because apparently my order got lost and I gotta wait for a new batch to come in. They were gonna reship me the last set they had but they told me they were testing the halo before they ship it to me and one of the rings had a bad soldering issue so hopefully I get a good new set in 2 weeks .

But anyway... enjoy the pictures some are from my phone and other are from a high quality camera

My buddy TSX

I got bore one day and decided to plasti dip my wheel white

My buddy F-RS rocket bunny

My buddy Aristo Toyota Aka GS 300

My buddy accord coupe

**My next step is to get my headlights done and wood flooring done that all for now guys **

Are you on natural camber for the fronts? I don't remember if you're running a camber kit in the front.

Yea same here after the show I wanted to try a different look lol and I like your plasti dip engine cover bay looks good . I need to get that plasti glossifer to make the white shine but it still looks great matte anyways.

Yeah the white dip is actually pretty bright as is without the glossifier on it. It think it will look good either plain or glossy.
